we've been around since 2002, and when we tell people we are here - they want to know our "mission":
good question.the simple answer is - we love [good] music.

we are always looking for contributors to review the music they love. please help us.

we aren't (totally) "hooked up" with free stuff the way many of the online 'zines' are,
we often buy the music ("buy? people still buy music?") we like and pass on our individual ideas to those interested enough to read about it. that typed, we have a good stockload here and are quite willing to send you some nice things if you are interesting in writing for us.

so, after this glorious sales pitch, if you are interested in helping out with the growing
beast that is slightly confusing to a stranger, please submit a
sample of your love to kaleb@sctas.com .

all physical [ magazines / cds / albums / tokens ] submissions should be directed to:

we're with you.

thanks - in advance.

slightly confusing to a stranger was / is developed on Blue Macintosh G3 & Silver G4 units, as well as various beige & steel PC's that had to make themselves available when away from the blessed machines we love.

99% of the illustration / design is created in Adobe Illustrator 9.0 / CS and Adobe Photoshop 7.0 / CS. All animation (gifs) is created in Adobe ImageReady.

The site layout is created in Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, and posted to the web via an excellent shareware program called Smart FTP. iFrames make all the magic work (on most machines, in most browsers [NEVER NETSCAPE - what's up with Netscape?] ) - and we thank the iFrame gods for their creation. An enourmous amount of HTML has been "borrowed" from Dynamic Drive and we thank each of the respective authors who have programmed days & nights of code for each script we have utilized.

The 8-bit font we use like it's tap water around this site is called '04B-08' designed bu Yuji Oshimoto and it, as well as countless others are F-R-E-E at www.dsg4.com

Seamless hosting is provided by the ever-so-helpful Joshua Allman - he can be reached at me@joshallman.com
