"The richest of fruits to those who wait". the Slight Record's first release will present (by the mightiest hand of some higher being) 3 original & unreleased tracks from Portland, Oregon brothers (by trade) Holy Sons ('Atrophy' & 'Ghost Ego') and Dolorean ('Benito's Dust'). 2-color, hand-screened sleeve print by these fine folks. A collaborative double A-side split 7", limited to 500 on 'coca-cola green' clear vinyl, promises to make you look (somewhat) and sound (much) better no matter where you should reside. Select Reviews for SR0001: Splendid - "Some records are designed to be inaudible -- to linger in the murk around the base of your speakers, sketchy and indistinct, like songs heard echoing up a lonely stairwell or down a seemingly deserted street. This is one of them."
This record will be available for purchase at Holy Sons & Dolorean shows, as well as directly through sctas.com (purchase below) $5.00
includes First Class shipping (in the 48 US). |

Boyarm's second collaborative "program" shifts tribute from medicinal innovators to the leaders of the Catholic faith. Featuring 265 tracks [each contribution featured is 15 seconds long], each one dedicated to the Popes of the past 2000 years. Select "Reviews" for SR0002: babysue - "It's an odd concept however...and you have to admit that this album doesn't sound like all the others. " cdreviews.com "Buy this album only if you’re proud to change the TV channel every 15 seconds, have no sense of decency in your sense of humor, and nurse a hatred for Christianity." smother "innovative.. .certainly not for the less adventuresome" mundane sounds "Where else can you go from computerized beats to screaming to heavy duty metal-like riffs to a burst of uncontrolable noise.. . all in a matter of minutes?" ( may the pope stay forever dead ) |

If we had soundclips on this one - you might not buy it. And if we gave you lyrics to this one when you did purchase it, you may want a refund. dchc are the blemished sounds of an near-insane, child-mannered beast in a basement sampling random religious speeches from AM radio, helpless victims from police scanners and sometimes his own voice - then attempting to make it all sound right by forcing these strange audible captures into broken beats and samples. Think the microphones Phil Elverum and [possibly] Squarepusher - then please never tell them we tried to make dchc a comparison to either of them. This record is available exclusively through sctas.com - $5.00 includes First Class Shipping. Tracklist:: [ soon ] |

So we found this tape [an old certron LN60 - classic, see the album cover] at the thrift store. It's unique, and I swear if you listen close enough some of the songs are crying. One side of the tape is labeled 'disco dance' in pencil, the other side is labeled 'glorias sing' in smeared blue ink. It's a tough listen at first, but I have grown to love it so. A few traditional songs, many more unknown. circa old. This cd-r is available exclusively through sctas.com - $5.00 includes First Class shipping, minimal art and love everlasting. Tracklist:: unknown. |
