Boy Omega : The Black Tango [CD]

The Black Tango is the second full length release from Gothenburg, Sweden's Martin Gustafsson - better known to those exposed as Boy Omega. Like a scavenger trek through a barren mansion at midnight, The Black Tango has brief passages and hidden nooks in addition to full living spaces that - as a whole - create an atmospheric journey combining acoustic guitar (found on his debut LP I Name You Isolation) and minimal electronic experimentation.
Ably backed by a cast of Sweden's finest musicians and vocalists (think the Boy Omega corps), Gustafsson weaves his craftsmanship with these critical elements - creating a sonic tapestry, and making The Black Tango an emotionally sound masterpiece.
